More room, joined on so it doesn't show
A good extension does not announce itself. On the stone and rendered properties around Harrogate that means sourcing the right stone, matching the coursing and the pointing, picking up the eaves and ridge lines, and detailing the new opening in the old wall so nothing telegraphs where the two meet.
We build single-storey and two-storey extensions, garden rooms, link extensions and annexes — from the structural opening and the steel through to plastering, glazing and the paving outside the doors.
Matched to the house, not to a catalogue
Reclaimed or newly quarried stone matched for colour and bed height, brick matched for size and blend, render matched for finish and texture. Where a wall has to be opened up we form the structural opening, pad the steel properly and rebuild the reveals so the elevation reads as one.
The inside and the outside of the same job
An extension is only finished when the room works: the floor build-up and levels, underfloor heating where it is going in, the glazing and thresholds, the plastering and decorating, and the paving laid to fall away from the doors. We carry the job through rather than handing you a shell.
