Whole-house renovations and internal reconfiguration
Renovating properly means deciding what stays and what goes before anything is stripped out. We survey the structure, work out which walls are doing a job, and set out the sequence — because on a full renovation the order of the trades is what decides whether it finishes on programme.
We take on whole-property renovations and one-room alterations alike: removing walls and forming new openings, reworking layouts, re-roofing, replacing windows, upgrading floors and insulation, and getting plastering, joinery and decoration to a proper standard.
Structural alterations done properly
Opening a layout up means beams, padstones and temporary support, not optimism. We work to the structural engineer's calculations, prop and needle the wall safely, install and case the steel, and make good the ceilings and reveals so there is no trace of where the wall used to be.
The unglamorous half of the job
Damp and ventilation, roof coverings and flashings, insulation and floor build-ups, wiring and pipework runs, and the sequencing that stops one trade undoing another. It is the part you never see on a finished-room photograph, and the part that decides how the house lives for the next twenty years.
